Reclaimed Antique Wood Serving Tray
Made from Doug fir flooring, installed in the 1860’s, this serving tray brings the beauty of the past into the present. This Doug fir is very tight grained, indicating it was likely a couple hundred years old before it was milled, meaning this wood came from a tree that was likely a sapling back in the 1600’s! This unique wood is encased in blue resin not only for stability but also to give it a hint of modern influence. Asking $70 obo. If you like the idea but not the color of epoxy, contact me for a quote on something custom. Given the wood is from the 1800’s I can not guarantee what it was previously treated with and therefore this shouldn’t be used as a cutting board or charcuterie board.
