TaylorMade Burner SuperSteel 3 Wood with Head Cover, Stiff Flex
TaylorMade introduced its Burner Supersteel 3 wood into the retail marketplace in 1999 at a MSRP of $295.00. Features and Benefits, according to TaylorMade, are as follows: * “SuperSteel is up to 20 percent stronger than traditional steel, allowing for a thinner, larger and more forgiving club head. * Thinner walls than traditional steel transfer more energy back to the ball for power. * Lighter overall weight encourages faster swing speed and extra distance.” It has a True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 stiff flex steel shaft and a Golf Pride Tour Wrap full cord midsize grip that’s in excellent condition. Note that the True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 shaft sells for $23.99 plus shipping at PGA Tour Superstore. It’s an excellent steel shaft. It’s being provided with a new / never used generic black/silver/black head cover. I also currently have the same new head covers in red/silver/black and blue/silver/black. Buyers choice. I’d grade this 3 wood in very good condition. It does have several small spots of chipped paint on the toe and on the top/crown of the club head. Otherwise, it would be in excellent condition. To summarize, this TaylorMade 3 wood is in very good condition, has an expensive True Temper shaft, a Golf Pride full cord midsize grip that’s in excellent condition, it’s being provided with a new generic 3 wood head cover, I’m letting it go for $40 and best of all it’s a TaylorMade.
